Last night’s paint and sip event was extra special as we gathered to paint the moody and beautiful “Van Gogh’s Graveyard.” But the real highlight? Getting to spend time with a group of people who have been painting with me for over eight years! These fabulous folks have been with me since the early Paint Nite days, and every time we come together, it feels like a reunion of old friends.
The energy in the room was full of nostalgia, laughter, and catching up on life. It’s amazing how art can bring people together and build lasting connections. Watching these talented artists create their own interpretations of Van Gogh’s Graveyard was such a joy. Their paintings turned out incredible, each one capturing a unique vibe, and I couldn’t be prouder of the work they did!
And let’s not forget Spike, who had the time of his life! He was thoroughly spoiled by his new Auntie Rayna, who quickly won him over with some tasty turkey treats. Spike loves anyone who gives him attention (and snacks!), but I think it’s safe to say Rayna is a new favorite.
This event reminded me why I love what I do so much. It’s not just about the art—it’s about the community we’ve built over the years. Seeing familiar faces and knowing how much joy these gatherings bring to everyone (including Spike!) makes it all worth it.
Take a look at their paintings—didn’t they do a fantastic job? I’m already looking forward to the next time we get together to paint, laugh, and make new memories. If you’re looking to reconnect with old friends or make new ones, come join us at an upcoming event. Let’s keep the creativity flowing!
